BUSG-P 528 PROCESS IMPROVEMENT/LEAN SIX SIGMA (3 CR.)
Physicians select and complete a process improvement project in their own organization which allows the application of the tools and procedures learned in the course. Course prepares students for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Green Belt Exam. Healthcare organizations have much to gain from improving operational processes, to improve both the quality and efficiency of care delivery. This course allows students to apply process improvement tools within their own organizations.
