The objective of this course is to facilitate understanding of corporate strategies in merger and acquisition activity, restructuring activities, and corporate governance. This includes exploring the theory and evidence regarding; the motives for these transactions, the sources of value-added, and managerial incentives to engage in or resist these activities.
