IUPUI Pledge Grants

Our pledge to your success

When you succeed at IUPUI, we succeed. When you file the FAFSA by the April 15 state aid deadline you will be considered for the need-based IUPUI Pledge Grant. This grant represents IUPUI's commitment to your success — when you pledge to meet or exceed expectations, we pledge to support your education financially.

The IUPUI Pledge Grant is available for up to four years and ranges from $500 to $4,000 annually, based on financial need. New recipients must have a 21st Century Scholarship or Frank O'Bannon grant to be awarded the pledge grant.

Expectations for IUPUI Pledge Grant recipients

If you are selected to receive the IUPUI Pledge Grant, here's what will be expected of you:

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Maintain 21st Century Scholarship eligibility or Frank O'Bannon Grant
  • Maintain full-time enrollment
  • File the FAFSA by the April 15 state aid deadline each year

Renewing your IUPUI Pledge Grant

Your eligibility to renew your IUPUI Pledge Grant will be determined each June based on your completion of minimal renewal standards. Award amounts may be reduced or eliminated if your financial need changes or if you receive significant IUPUI scholarship opportunities.
