Graduating with Distinction

If you’re receiving an IU degree

To graduate with distinction, you must be receiving a bachelor’s or associate degree and rank within the top 10 percent of the graduating class in your degree-granting unit.

If you’re a bachelor’s candidate, you must have completed a minimum of 60 hours at IU. If you’re an associate candidate, you must have completed at least half of the hours required for your degree at IU.

Degree-granting units determine the appropriate GPA requirements for each level of distinction.
